Tulips and Daddy Time
Last night was the first band rehearsal since Phoebe was born, and as typical Katie came over for dinner. One of the perquisites of parenthood is that people often bring dinner. Last night was one of those occasions, and Katie came packing take-n-bake Hawaiian pizza. It was quite yummy. Too bad Phoebe had to settle for breast milk. The plan was for Jess to stay home with Phoebe, since she alone can feed the little one, but I was pretty pooped from working all week, so I skipped band as well. I felt a little guilty all night, but not too guilty to relax.
This morning one of our tulips has finally bloomed. It’s a little short and stunted, but very beautiful. Just like Phoebe. Jess figures it must be her tulip since they typically pop out too early, only to suffer death by a freak Colorado snow storm. This year they seem to have survived, thus far, and we have one lovely bloom. Hopefully the others will open up as well.
I also picked up a replacement computer for the dying Dell laptop. Look for another blog post in the near future describing the newest addition to the family in all its gory detail. So far, it seems to be working well. In fact, I’m using it for this blog post. Hurray!

Hurray – I tried to “Log In” before and just couldn’t do it – so thanks for making it easier for us computer-challenged folks. The blog is GREAT and I love sharing these days with you. Happy Easter! Cynthia
