More of Phoebe’s New Feats

I have an unexpected day off from work today. I’ve been traveling a lot this month to work conferences: first Boston, then Montreal, then Chicago next week. I just got back from Montreal on Saturday night, and my boss let me stay home today. I missed Phoebe while I was away for a whole week, so I kept her home with me. She’s also teething and kind of uncomfortable, so it’s a good day to hang out at home. She’s feeling great right now, so she’s yanking everything out of the cupboard. The downstairs looks like a disaster zone, so it’s a good thing Dave’s out of town for a work conference. He left for Washington, D.C. this morning and gets back on Wednesday.

Yesterday, Phoebe and I were getting some work done at church while Dave played his saxophone during the second service. I looked down and noticed that she had dumped all of her Cheerios out of the bowl…and was putting them back in! I grabbed the camera and caught the very end of it. Then, to my complete surprise, she stood up! I’d never seen her do that, so I was delighted to have it on video. Enjoy.
