Gribblog Facelift
Well, it may have been a quiet year in lake Wobegon, but it’s been super busy in Colorado for the Gribble family. It hardly seems possible, but it’s been more than a month since Phoebe’s birthday, and our little girl just keeps growing and learning. Last year at about this time, Jess was really demanding in regards to a new look for the Gribblog. Of course it was appropriate, as the old format didn’t even feature miss Phoebe on the banner! Now that it’s been about a year, the old pictures just aren’t representative anymore, so it seemed time for a little facelift. This time around, the images I chose are all from old blog posts, so you can read through the last couple of months of posts if you want a little more background. In short, from left to right, they are Jess and Phoebe at the Denver Zoo, Phoebe on her new Strider bike in our backyard, and Phoebe and me engrossed in our electronic do-dads on the couch. In Phoebe’s case it is “her” iPod, and in my case it’s a Sony Playstation 3. In case you were wondering, Apple’s iOS devices are simple and intuitive enough for a toddler to use. Phoebe has mastered the iPod, and was a capable user well before her 2nd birthday. She likes to look at pictures, play the drums, talk at the oscilloscope, and especially play her matching game. She hasn’t tried the iPod trombone app yet, but it’ll probably be a hit as well. I’ll finish off this quick post with a couple of recent pictures of Phoebe. Enjoy!
