Follow-up Checkup

On Monday Dave stayed home from work to go to the pediatrician’s appointment. Baby Ben is doing really well…he weighs 5 lbs, 12 oz. We suspect that he’s gained a bit of weight from his low point. He shrunk a little bit, too, which is normal. He’s now 18.5 inches tall with a head size of 34 cm. Today is Wednesday, and he’s learning to eat a lot better. He still enjoys a top-off from the bottle after nursing, but we’re delighted to get food into him however he wants it! Nights have been as long as I vaguely remember from Phoebe…lots of eating and burping. Not much sleeping.
