Phoebe Finally Eats!

It’s been a fun last couple of weeks in the Gribble household. Phoebe had her 6-month doctor’s appointment and got official approval to start some real food. She has been allowed to drink a little water for some time but has clearly been craving food for months. You can see just how badly she wants to eat every time mom and dad sit down for a meal. So finally we got to give her a little rice cereal for the first time. Here’s a little video footage for your enjoyment.

We also celebrated her 1/2 birthday with a couple of small presents. Grammy sent a wiggly giggly ball that makes weird little squeaking sounds whenever it rolls around, and Jess couldn’t resist getting Phoebe a little Troy Polamalu jersey. It turns out there are only a few different jerseys available in such small sizes. This one, the smallest, is a 12-month size. You might enjoy watching these little videos of her opening her gifts.
