Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery

Phoebe and her classmates have been working hard to pull together the Peak to Peak Middle School play. This semester they put on a production of Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery. Because there was so much interest, the theater department created two separate casts and split the performances between the two groups. Phoebe was cast as Mr. Stapleton, the play’s villain, and was part of the Friday night and Saturday matinee performances. Jess, Benjamin, and I got to go to the Friday night show, and we had a great time watching the play. Although we wish you could have been here in person to see the show, it is a long trip for a 2-hour play; you’ll have to settle for these slightly soft-focused videos instead. This is Jess, chiming in to agree that the play was wonderful. Phoebe invited me to the Saturday night performance to see her friends, so I got to see both casts. I can’t believe how many lines the kids memorized! (Young brains.) If you don’t have time for the whole 2-hour performance that Dave posted above, here are a few photos and video clips.
