Approaching One Month

Today is Monday, and on Wednesday Benjamin will be four weeks old. Remarkable! He and I are enjoying our time at home; I think his favorite part is eating. Breakfast number one, breakfast number two, lunches one, two, three, and four… Which is great, considering that getting him to eat was a particular challenge during his first few days of life. I’m kind of partial to the time he’s asleep…I can get some things accomplished, including updating the blog.

I’m afraid that I don’t have anything earth-shattering to post, so you’ll have to make due with a bunch of baby photos.

Sleeping baby. Isn’t he handsome?
We remember fondly the weird ways Phoebe’s hands used to hover in the air while she was asleep. It’s fun to see Benjamin doing the same!
A girl, her lion, and a banana.
Phoebe is reading a Berenstain Bears book to Benjamin.

Another one of Dave’s old outfits. They held up pretty well!
Wide awake Benjamin hanging out on Mommy and Daddy’s bed.
October 17. Benjamin is spending more and more time awake!
Maybe he’s praying in his sleep?

Here’s a quick video of Ben wiggling:

Looking like a little old man in his new puppy dog pants and a sweater that was Dave’s.
On Friday, October 19, Benjamin and I visited my work friends. Karen is giving him a tummy rub.

This morning Ben had the hiccups!
